3. Due To Intraductal Pailloma
Intraductal Pailloma is a small growth on the milk duct lining which bleeds during breast feeding. This is a small tumor in the milk producing ducts or glands which is not related to cancer or does not have any harm. It looks as a lump just besides the nipples. If a mother gets this tumor, the symptom may get reflected as bleeding during breast feeding. Blood in the milk is an early and significant sign of Intraductal Pailloma.
4. Due To Fibrocystic Changes
There are conditions called fibrocystic changes or fibrocystic breasts where the mother develops several lumps in the breast which causes pain and irritation. This is a very common breast disease in women and especially during pregnancy and breast feeding. This condition occurs due to hormonal changes and various in response to the changes. The symptoms may occur as bleeding during breast feeding and it can be surgically removed.
5. Due To Serratia Marsescens
The Serratia Marsescens is a bacterium which causes mild bleeding during breast feeding. This is a condition which produces red-pink kind of substance which makes the milk turn red. While breast feeding or extracting the milk from the breast, the color of milk may change and appear dark due to this reason. It is a very common which is not harmful or complicated.
6. Due To Baby’s Throat Infection
If the baby has some yeast infections in the throat, this infection may get passed to the nipples of the mother which can cause bleeding during breast feeding. The nipples can get trusted or damages or even cracked due to the infection and can cause bleeding during breast feeding your baby. You must get a checkup for your baby to battle this problem.
